Controls Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods
  • Diagnose and resolve production equipment issues where control system components and/or programming may be a factor
  • Maintain library of control system schematics, documentation, process and motion controller programs
  • Diagnose causes of electrical or mechanical malfunction
  • Train technicians to perform preventive maintenance
  • Support production utilizing knowledge of equipment control systems, programming, processes and components utilized
Qualifications
  • Experience with PLCs (Siemens and/or Allen Bradley), HMIs (Siemens or Proface), Drives (Baumuller, Master Drives, Simotion) and Process Controls/Communication (OPC software, Ethernet, Profibus)
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Controls, Electrical engineering or a related field

Electrical Technician

Responsibilities
  • Requires 12-hour shifts, day turn as well as night
  • Maintain and troubleshoot PLC control systems, motor controls and VFDs, instrumentation, pneumatics, networks and production plant equipment
Qualifications
  • Minimum two years' experience with 480V 3-Phase industrial electric, a strong background with PLCs and electrical troubleshooting

Extrusion Operator

Responsibilities
  • The complete set-up and operation of all extrusion equipment
  • Complete cleaning and basic maintenance of all extrusion and related equipment
  • Assist in troubleshooting and help with in-depth maintenance
  • Proficiently perform changeovers and production of aluminum containers to the specifications set by the customer
  • Continual quality control of the containers in production
Qualifications/Experience Requirements
  • Blueprint reading
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Use of hand tools
  • Measuring skills (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
  • Quality control
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Problem solving
Educational Requirements

Inside-Liner Operator

Responsibilities
  • Complete set-up and operation of all inside liner equipment
  • Complete cleaning and basic maintenance of all inside lining and related equipment
  • Assist in troubleshooting and help with in-depth maintenance
  • Proficiently perform changeover and production of aluminum containers to the specifications set by the customer; proper preparation of inside liner materials
  • Continual quality control of the containers in production
Qualifications/Experience Requirements
  • Blueprint reading
  • Measuring skills (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with viscosities and spray equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Problem solving
  • Preventative maintenance
Educational Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Technical/vocational school training preferred

Lithographer

Responsibilities
  • Complete set-up and operation of all lithography equipment
  • Complete cleaning and basic maintenance of all inside lithography and related equipment
  • Assist in troubleshooting and help with in-depth maintenance
  • Proficiently perform changeover and production of aluminum containers to the specifications set by the customer, proper preparation of lithography materials
  • Continual quality control of the containers in production
Qualifications/Experience Requirements
  • Good color detection as evidenced by a color test
  • Select and mix appropriate inks
  • Basic knowledge and application of blueprint reading
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Effective use of hand tools
  • Adept at measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Evidence of good computer skills and knowledge
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing facility is a plus
Educational Requirements
  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Technical/vocational school training preferred

Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
  • 12-hour shifts, day turn as well as night
  • Spot repair of production line machinery
  • Maintain utilities for entire plant
  • Assist with preventive and routine maintenance on all equipment
Qualifications
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of boilers, welding, variable speed drives, blueprints, computers and oven burners
  • Experience with water treatment or catalytic oxidizers a plus
